Vigo Parish Council – Notice of Vacancies

We’ve received the official notice from the Borough Council following the resignation of two parish councillors (Pat Banks and Mandie Jones)  click here and here

If 10 or more electors from Vigo request an election within 14 working days of the notice, a by-election will be held.
If no request is made, the council will fill the seats by co-option.

What is co-option?
If no election is triggered, the Parish Council can invite applications and choose new councillors directly. This is a great opportunity for residents to get involved and help shape local decisions.
