Important Notice – Email Service Disruption
We would like to inform residents and anyone trying to contact Vigo Parish Council that our email system has been unavailable since Wednesday afternoon (18th March 2026)
This issue is due to an ongoing problem with our external provider, and is completely outside of our control. We understand that a number of parish councils who use this service are experiencing the same disruption.
We have been advised that our provider are actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
At present, we do not have an alternative contact method available. However, if the issue is not resolved within the next 48 hours, we will set up and share an alternative way to get in touch.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience while this matter is being resolved.
Thank you,
Vigo Parish Council
Vigo Parish Council is made up of nine Councillors who live locally. They are voted into their posts by the electorate of the Parish, or co-opted, to form a Council that endeavours to make decisions in the interests of the local community. Councillors are not paid but volunteer their time to serve our village. Parish Council meetings are open to the public and the minutes which record discussions and decisions are posted onto the Council's website. You can also ask for a copy from the Parish Office.
Vigo is in the Borough of Gravesham in the County of Kent, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, bordering Trosley Country Park.
