Community Grants Paid During 2025/26

Vigo Parish Council is pleased to confirm the community grant payments made during the 2025/26 financial year. These grants support groups that provide valuable services, activities and opportunities for residents of Vigo and the surrounding community.

The following grant payments were made during 2025/26:

The total value of grants paid during 2025/26 was £1,200.

Among the organisations supported was We Are Beams, a local charity that supports disabled children and young people, together with their families, helping them access activities, services and opportunities that improve their quality of life.

The Council also supported the Community Cupboard, this invaluable initiative provides essential food supplies and support to individuals and families facing hardship within the local community.

Funding was also provided to the Gravesham Repair Café, which operates from Vigo Village Hall on the second Saturday of every month between 10.00am and 2.00pm. This free community service brings together volunteers who help repair broken household items, electronics, clothing and bicycles, reducing waste and helping residents save money.

Vigo Parish Council is proud to support local organisations whose work enhances community life, promotes wellbeing and provides opportunities for residents of all ages.
